Broadcast Engineer | 80%

Digris is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled professional to join our international engineering team. As part of our technical staff, you will play a central role in the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of modern broadcasting and streaming infrastructures, actively contributing to Europe's diverse radio landscape.

We operate Open Broadcast Radio and manage DAB+ networks for locale radio stations in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and France. Thanks to our innovative technology, we enable small and independent radio stations across Europe to broadcast digitally via DAB+, making radio more accessible, democratic and future-proof.

Tasks

  • Engineering: Planning, construction, configuration and commissioning of DAB+ / FM transmitters.
  • Facility: Maintenance and servicing of antenna sites.
  • Support: On-call service for troubleshooting network and radio faults in Switzerland, the UK, France and Germany.
  • Order management: Monitoring of procurement and delivery logistics for technical components.

Requirements

  • Experience in HF (high-frequency technology) is an advantage.
  • Training in telecommunications, electronics, media technology or similar.
  • Knowledge of network and IT infrastructures.
  • Willingness to work at various locations throughout the United Kingdom and occasionally abroad.
  • Willingness to work at heights and perform industrial climbing (e.g. on transmission masts, roofs or towers) in compliance with all safety regulations.
