History

The station was launched in 2002 to fill a gap in the market.

Through popularity and growth, Fresh has become the station that plays all genres of black music to appease a greater clientele in Leeds and Yorkshire

Thursday 3rd December 2020 fresh was awarded a D.A.B Licence from ofcom which made us the first ever legal black music station in Leeds and Yorkshire
